why this blog!


Hi, If you are reading this and wondering about the blog name, here it is,

The 99 days challenge starts from 24th October 2016 and end 31st Dec 2016.

This blog is created for the sole purpose of achieving the long elusive "WEIGHT LOSS". I have never been overweight but my wish is to my perfect goal weight.

I am 5 feet tall and a working mom (with a sitting job) of a 9 year old and currently wight 58 kgs which is bordering to Normal to overweight BMI. My perfect weight according to me is 50 kgs. Just 8 kgs short but that 8 kgs is hard to loose until i set myself up to some discipline. I sit for almost 9 hrs a day due to my work. So more than weight loss, i needs the flexibility in me back as was in early twenties.

My intention is to start my journey to loose that 8 kgs with a Low carb diet and running, both of which i love..I have had past experience with low carb diet and have see wonderful positive results. But not able to continue and stopped running seemed to add on the lost kgs..

I want to stick to my plan of daily recording my diet (eating low carb) and my running steps/time (which i am monitoring on my Samsung app).

I want running to become my habit, my way of living and so is low carb diet. I will be charting my weekly menu and running schedule.. Tomorrow will be the new beginning and start for this journey.
